Excellent image! Great color and pose.
Was this shot in the wild?

This is amazing! Excellent color saturation. Was this on a coordinated photo expedition? I'm considering a photo trek to Costa Rica next year and am seeking agency names if this is the case. Your portfolio is excellent, too. Thanks for sharing.

Hi everyone,,. Thanks for viewing,,and for your positive feedback,,. This image was shot in a humidity controlled environment with live plants and foiledge in an attempt to duplicate the natural jungle habitat of these colorful creatures,,. A combination of full spectrum, incandescent and fill flash lighting was used to illuminate the subject and the images were taken at night when the frogs are most active,,. Red eyed tree frogs are nocturnal so they would be very difficult to photograph in the wilds as they spend there days in hiding,,,attached to the under side of leaves high up in the jungle canopy,,.
I hope this helps answer your questions,,.
Kind regards
Lyle,,.

Hi Lyle, Absolutely stunning. The image has undefinable characteristics (not by me anyway) that are only found in great shots. Tom
