I am not sure if this works, but this is the first image I took to try out my new Gitzo 3541L tripod with my 200mm Micro Nikkor f/4D lens. There is a large flowering schrub in my yard that produces these approximately 1 1/2 inch flowers, that attract bees. But in this instance no bees in sight. I was in a cramped area to get this shot and the legs were set to eye level, but not fully spread. I wanted the stalks in sharp focus and the rest to kind of blur into the background.

Shot on tripod with 200 mm f/4D Micro Nikkor at closest focusing distance. f/8, 1/180, ISO 200.
