This was an HDR experiment. I have a lot to learn about processing HDR images and used the auto settings in PSCS3 Extended for this on. While on Mondrogi, I took 3 shots of this windmill (handheld) at 1 EV intervals. I then did a merge to HDR in photoshop. The amazing part is the 3 images were not in perfect register due to hand holding, but PSCS3 just lined them up. The sky in all three images were pretty grey as it was an overcast day. I took the resultant tone curved image into Capture NX2 and added a very light blue sky to the final image. The photo was shot hand held with D200 and 12-24 f/4 DX lens at 14mm. EV zero shot was f/6.3, 1/250, ISO 100
