Inside of world's tallest hydraulic lift lock in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada on the Trent-Severn Waterway. (Lifts boat traffic up and down.) Vertical movement: 65 feet. Opened 1904.


Camera: D200. Lens: Nikkor 12-24mm DX. Handheld. Exposure via Matrix Metering. Small curves adjustment in Adobe Lightroom and perspective straightened in Photoshop CS3 using warp command.
